A bit about us

The company has been around since 1974 and is still family owned and operated. Falcon Car Care are now one of the largest specialist valeting firms in the UK with over 400 valeting operatives cleaning nearly 30,000 cars a week. Today the company looks after many well-known dealership brands and runs some of the most challenging high volume sites in the UK.

Why we save our client’s money and improve site performance

We believe our customers should not be paying for non-productive time, materials or equipment. That’s why as standard we supply all the materials, equipment and only charge for the vehicles we clean. Of course we can work according to your preference, but we find this model works well. This also avoids many of the problems associated with employing people such as administration, holidays, sick pay and finding replacements for absenteeism. Our “all in” price per unit cost model is also very useful for customers when they are forecasting budgets, as all our costs can be pre-determined at an early stage.

A message from Managing Director Ian Rigby

“Over the past 40 years, the valeting industry has changed dramatically and although we have moved ourselves with the times, our principles will always remain the same. Myself and many of the management team here at Falcon started our working lives on the valeting pitches and we think this is fairly unique in the modern valeting world.

Because we have lived and breathed the industry for so many years, we really do understand what is important to you…and of course your own customers. It’s also a reason why we work with the companies we do, a source of pride for our business.

Tim Owen
General Manager

Tim has over 30 years experience working in the motor industry and has spent the last seven years with Falcon. He brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding to his current position. Tim is responsible for the smooth day to day running of the operational aspects of the sites and continually liaises with customers and valeters to ensure an excellent standard of work is achieved.

Ian Rigby
Managing Director

Ian has worked his way through the business from valeter to supervisor, then to operations manager and general manager. As such, Ian has a holistic view of the entire business having worked in many roles. In 2004 Ian bought the business from the existing owner who decided to retire. Following the buy out, Ian became Managing Director, and he is now responsible for the strategic direction and performance of the company.

Darren Rendall
Operations & Events Manager

Darren has been with Falcon for over 18 years working in a variety of roles. For the past 9 years, Darren has worked in a Management role where he has been responsible for the smooth running of up 30 separate contracts across the country. Darren is also responsible for running the events team for some of our clients. With vast site experience having worked in frontline valeting and in supervisory roles before progressing into Management, Darren has a good overview of the business and customer requirements.

Jim O'Donnell
Operations Manager

Jim has over 24 years experience in the Valeting Industry and has been a Manager for Falcon Car Care for the past 10 years. With previous experience in frontline valeting, Jim is currently responsible for running several key contracts and is responsible for management and liaison with major customer accounts.
